Kopin to showcase Video Eyewear products at SID 2006 : Kopin will showcase a sampling of its customers' video eyewear products - powered by Digital iVision technology - at the SID (Society for Information Display) 2006 Exhibition which runs tomorrow through Thursday at San Francisco's Moscone Convention Center. The exhibition will feature the world's largest demonstration of commercially available mobile video eyewear products. Digital iVision technology offers Big Pictures On the Go in a compact package by compressing high-resolution images into tiny microdisplays and enlarging the images using optical elements. Kopin will survey visitors who use the eyewear products presented at its booth to identify consumer preferences.
