Fujifilm FinePix A510 : The FinePix A510 Zoom is a camera that equips the starter with all they need. It spares you the technical complexity that can get in the way of a good shot. Fujifilm has over a decade of expertise in producing first-rate digital images, and it shows in this 5 million pixel camera. For the first time, Fujifilm's proprietary Super CCD sensor has been used in the entry-level camera in the range. The only way to see the benefit of this feature is to savour the photos - crisp, colourful and clear, this camera enhances the reputation of Super CCD for creating pictures that don't look digital - they look real. Digital photography isn't everyone's specialist subject, however this camera is as accessible as they come.

Fujifilm Real Photo Technology cuts through noise

Mark Peters : 2006-05-02 23:47:35
Fujifilm Real Photo Technology cuts through noise : Not happy with the quality of your digital pictures? It just might be too "noisy" in your digital camera. Fortunately, there is a new system from Fujifilm that reduces image noise, letting point-and-shoot camera users capture moments as their eyes see them, leading to more natural, life-like images under a wider variety of shooting conditions, even low light. The system is Real Photo Technology and it is found in Fujifilm's FinePix V10, now available, and the FinePix F30, shipping to retailers this month. Everybody knows that "noise" is an unpleasant or unwanted sound, but "noise" also is a pattern of flecks, blotches, or color spots that mar the quality of digital pictures.

Mark Peters : 2006-05-02 12:30:44
Fujifilm annual operating profit fell 57 percent : Japanese Fuji Photo Film said its annual operating profit fell 57%, weighed down by charges for lay-offs and film production cuts, and it forecast a slower-than-expected recovery this year. The company also said it would adopt a new company name, Fujifilm, in line with its brand name for camera film in October, when it plans to create a new holding company. "In any country you go, you can see signs for Fujifilm. It's a worldwide brand," Fuji Photo Film President Shigetaka Komori said. The world's second-largest camera film maker after U.S.-based Eastman Kodak suffers from a shrinking camera film market, even though that business now accounts for less than 10 percent of its sales.
