Sony 512MB Memory Stick Micro with free Ringtones : Sony Europe’s Recording Media & Energy division today announced that customers can download five different ringtones free with every purchase of a 512MB Sony Memory Stick Micro. Customers choose from a list of 24 most-wanted ringtones which they download to personalise their mobile phone to suit their mood. The ultra-small ‘M2’ memory card, which is currently available from Sony with capacities of up to 1GB, will meet the increasing expectations of mobile phone users by providing high capacity storage for mobile content such as ringtones, pictures and music videos on compact, multifunctional devices. The ‘M2’ also comes with an adaptor the size of the standard Memory Stick.

The service enables recovery of photography and data files which, once stored on a Memory Stick have been lost or deleted. The File Rescue software is free and can be downloaded from the Sony customer support website This tool requires customers to register the Memory Stick model name and serial number before download of the recovery software can begin. The easy to use Memory Stick File Rescue software can recover .jpg, MPEG1 and .mp4.
