Because Almira delivers a 360° image field, which means a 100% overview, thanks to its special lens (fisheye). A 3-megapixel (2048x1536) high-resolution CMOS sensor gives permanent brilliant picture quality. The camera is controlled by a separate keyboard (RS-485 Pelco D, additional protocol support is currently in development). Up to four virtual cameras (VCAMS) can be displayed with Almira and controlled with full PTZ functionality.
