SanDisk CEO Harari Appointed Chairman of the Board : SanDisk Corporation announced that Dr. Eli Harari, 60, will be appointed as Chairman of the Board of Directors. Dr. Harari will maintain his position as Chief Executive Officer. Sanjay Mehrotra, 47, the Company's Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, will assume the role of President while maintaining his position as Chief Operating Officer. Irwin Federman, 70, will be appointed as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and Lead Independent Director. Under the new organization, Sanjay and Judy Bruner - SanDisk's CFO and Executive VP for Finance and Administration - will continue to report to Harari. These appointments will become effective June 1, 2006.

To be based at Canon Europe’s strategic headquarters in the UK, Per Klavsen leaves his role as Marketing Director, European Professional Solutions to become European Corporate and International Channel Director, with David Preskett replacing Per to become Marketing Director. Canon opens Professional Print Competence Centre : Canon Europe, world leader in digital imaging technology, today announced the opening of its first Professional Print Competence Centre (PPCC) in Europe. Based in Mönchengladbach, Germany, the centre is a satellite support operation of the European Competence Centre based in Reigate in the UK, and has been built to support Canon’s growing number of professional print customers within Europe. The PPCC’s key functions will be to: act as a dedicated engineer training facility for Canon’s highly respected engineer network, provide telephone and remote diagnostic support and act as a test-bed for professional equipment prior to customer installation.
