Ceatec Exhibition Japan 2006 : The Ceatec Japan Organizing Committee announced today that Ceatec Japan 2006, an exhibition of cutting-edge IT and electronics, will open at Makuhari Messe in Chiba Prefecture in October. The event will be held under the sponsorship of the Communications and Information network Association of Japan (CIAJ), the Japan Electronics and Information Technology Industries Association (JEITA) and the Computer Software Association of Japan (CSAJ). The theme of Ceatec Japan 2006 - Digital Convergence Changing Society, Lifestyles and Business - reflects the new industries and markets being realized through the coming together of computers and home appliances, and of broadcasting and communications.
