Canon PowerShot A700 review

Ilse Jurriën : 2006-05-02 13:10:00
Canon PowerShot A700 digital camera review : Early this year, just before the start of the PMA 2006, Canon introduced an entire new series of digital cameras. Most of these new models are now gradually becoming available for digital camera reviews. Such is also the case with the Canon PowerShot A700. This new model is equipped with a 6 Megapixel image sensor, and features the renowned PowerShot A-series design. Six Megapixels seems to have been declared the standard resolution for the amateur photographer. Although the new Canon A700 does not have a predecessor, it greatly resembles the, for instance, Canon PowerShot A530 and 540 models. The Canon PowerShot A700 is the flagship of the current PowerShot A-series digital cameras.

Canon PowerShot A620 review

Ilse Jurriën : 2006-05-01 14:55:00
Canon PowerShot A620 digital camera review : Canon has found a formula for success with the PowerShot series of digital cameras. The concept of a wide range of functionalities and advanced features with a low entry-level for users has really caught on, and it is with good reason that the PowerShot A series of cameras is popular with Canon users. The Canon PowerShot was officially introduced in 2005, replacing the Canon A95 and raising the resolution to 7 Megapixels simultaneously. One of the differences to its predecessor is the format and flexibility of the screen at the back of the camera; it has been enlarged from 1.8 to 2.0 inches and can be tilted.

Canon Digital IXUS 60 review

Ilse Jurriën : 2006-04-18 00:10:00
Canon Digital IXUS 60 review : Canon are moving along rapidly. Besides wanting to have a large market share in each segment of the digital imaging market, Canon are naturally also keen to hold the actual number one position, and it seems they are well on the way to achieve it all. This is only emphasised by the introductions of their new products; there seems to be an incessant flow of camera arrivals. At the moment, the cycle for consumer compact cameras is six months. The Canon Digital IXUS 60 was introduced in February 2006 and carries on the IXUS tradition. With its attractive design, a compact format and a housing made from high-quality material, the Canon Digital IXUS seems destined to score major points for Canon once again.

Canon EOS 30D review

Ilse Jurriën : 2006-04-11 01:30:00
Canon EOS 30D SLR review : There is always a tangible air of excitement when Canon introduce a new model. What has been changed this time? The buzz of rumours grew steadily throughout the weeks before the official introduction, and there seemed to be a relentless stream of "official" specifications, popping up one after the other, every single one published as genuine and factual. All in all, the expectations and hopes for the Canon EOS 30D were high. This was only fuelled by the fact that Canon's great rival Nikon had created a truly impressive digital SLR camera, the Nikon D200. What would Canon's answer be? Read our Canon 30D review to find out all about this latest Canon SLR camera.
