Bowens Turbopak Battery System : The new Turbopak Battery system expands the Bowens range of Battery solutions further still. Following the launch of the Explorer 1500 Battery Generator and the Travelpak and Travelpak+ battery units - the Turbopak is designed to provide power for up to four Bowens Esprit Gemini Units providing up to 1600 flashes on a single charge. Similar in proportion to the Explorer 1500, the Turbopak is just as portable but with the added benefit of being able to power four Bowens Esprit Gemini units, so with four 750Ws you have up to 3000Ws of energy at your disposal. Unlike the Travelpak, the Turbopak battery is removable allowing you to charge the battery outside of the unit.
Bowens heavy-duty battery module : With the introduction of the Explorer1500 Battery Generator, launched at Photokina 2004 and the Turbopak Battery launched at Photokina 2006, Bowens have ensured that freedom from mains power is a very real possibility for users of the Bowens Esprit Gemini monolights and Bowens Quad heads. Now, to satisfy photographers working on longer shoots needing more flashes per charge comes the Bowens Heavy-Duty Battery Module - Designed to easily and quickly double the capacity of the Explorer1500 or Turbopak. To use the Bowens Heavy-Duty Battery Module, simply remove the regular battery of the Explorer1500 or Turbo pack and sit the unit on top of the Heavy-Duty Battery.
