Kodak Picture Kiosk G4 photo station awarded by DIMA : Kodak Picture Kiosk G4 Multi-Station Digital Picture Center earned the company accolades for innovation at this year's Photo Marketing Association (PMA) Annual International Convention and Trade Show. The Digital Imaging Marketing Association (DIMA, part of PMA) recognized the KODAK Digital Picture Center, as well as Kodak Professional Digital Printing Software (DP1), as two of only 17 products that will influence the future of digital imaging. DIMA Innovative Digital Product Awards are presented annually to distinctive or first-of-a-kind products or services. Past Kodak wins have included the Kodak EasyShare One wireless digital camera and the EasyShare printer dock.

Fujifilm wins DIMA 2006 Innovative Product Awards : The Digital Imaging Marketing Association (DIMA), a section of Photo Marketing Association International, today presented Fujifilm with not one, but two DIMA Innovative Digital Product Awards at the PMA 2006. The two products - the Fujifilm FinePix F30 digital camera and the enhanced Fujifilm GetPix Kiosk VP3 for digital picture printing - were singled out by DIMA for their unique use of technology or applications that result in a significant user benefit. DIWA Platinum Awards 2005 : DIWA (Digital Imaging Websites Association), a world-wide organisation of collaborating websites, today has the pleasure of announcing the winners of the annual DIWA Platinum Award for 2005. DIWA members from Europe and America continuously test and review digital imaging products for their readers. For digital cameras, more than 200 details must be checked, tested and evaluated. Fujifilm Envisage Photography Awards : Envisage, the business initiative supported by Fujifilm Professional, has launched a new award scheme for its members. The Fujifilm Envisage Photography Awards will act primarily as a sales tool for members and will have monthly Merit Award judgings throughout the year. Up to 10 Merits will be awarded each month - offering valuable PR opportunities for the winners - and these winners will then be entered into the finals in January. As with the successful Distinctions Awards formula, all entries will initially be accepted online, then prints must be made for the final judging. Entries can be taken on either Fujifilm Professional film or via digital capture.

DIMA 2006 Shoot Outs feature big changes at PMA 2006 : In response to requests from participants and other Digital Imaging Marketing Association members, DIMA announces significant changes to the DIMA 2006 Digital Printer Shoot-Out, Digital Camera Shoot-Out, and Photo Kiosk Shoot-Out. This will be the 11th annual DIMA Printer Shoot-Out; and, for the first time in event history, judging of the prints took place on Jan. 18, prior to the DIMA Annual Conference, to be held at the PMA 2006. “We have completely overhauled the event,” says Chad Munce, group executive, Digital Imaging Markets. “One of the most significant changes is the target file being used was created by Graphic Intelligence Agency, using a GretagMacbeth Color Checker.
