Konica Minolta color laser printer award : Konica Minolta Printing solution announced that two of the company's color laser printers have received Buyers Laboratory Inc.'s (BLI's) Fall 2006 "Pick of the Year" awards. The magicolor 7450, on the heels of another industry award win, was selected in the mid-size workgroup color category while the new magicolor 2550 DN was named BLI's small workgroup multi-pass color printer "Pick." Over the past six months, Buyers Laboratory has put multiple printers from several manufacturers through a demanding evaluation process. Both the Konica Minolta magicolor 7450 and magicolor 2550 DN completed the rigorous testing with flying colors, receiving a "highly recommended" nomination.

Canon digital cameras receive DIWA Gold Award : DIWA (Digital Imaging Websites Association), a world-wide organisation of collaborating websites, today has the pleasure of announcing DIWA Gold Awards to three high quality Canon models; the EOS 30D, the PowerShot S3 IS and the Digital IXUS 800 IS. The Canon EOS 30D is based on the DIWA Gold winning predecessor, the EOS 20D. At first glance, their appearance may seem identical, apart from the larger 2.5-inch LCD screen. Inside the ergonomic and solid body, however, a number of advanced improvements have been made, such as the implementation of Canon's revolutionary “Picture Styles” image processing parameters. SanDisk V-Mate wins CES innovation award :SanDisk Corporation announced that the Consumer Electronics Association has given SanDisk a prestigious Innovation Award for the V-Mate Video Memory Card Recorder. The V-Mate Video Memory Card Recorder was selected as one of the most innovative consumer electronic products in the Portable Electronics: Audio/Video category. It was showcased today at the 2007 International Consumer Electronics Show Press Review. SanDisk will also hold a press conference and demonstrate the V-Mate at the CES in Las Vegas, NV on January 8-11 at the Innovations 2007 Showcase, at the Sands Expo and Convention Center. The V-Mate records video from an analog source directly onto a flash memory card.

Logitech wins CES Innovation Awards : Nine Logitech products were named 2007 CES Innovations award winners for excellence in design and engineering. The awards were officially announced in New York by the Consumer Electronics Association; all of the award-winning Logitech products will be on display at the 2007 International Consumer Electronics tradeshow in Las Vegas, on Jan. 9-12.
