Akvis Noise Suppression software

Mark Peters : 2006-03-17 14:24:43
Akvis Noise Suppression software : Akvis, designer of intuitive software tools, announces the release of new software - Akvis Noise Buster V.1.1 for Windows and Macintosh. Akvis Noise Buster is software for noise suppression on digital and scanned images. Digital cameras opened the door to easy and entertaining photography. However, consumer digital cameras also have their drawbacks: they often produce the so-called digital noise. It can be seen as grains that compromise the smoothness of the photo. It is especially annoying on the skin as it makes it uneven. This kind of noise is called luminance noise. There can also be chroma noise which is perceived as random red and blue pixels spoiling the color accuracy of the snap-shot.

Akvis Enhancer V.3.0 image enhancement software

Ilse Jurriƫn : 2006-02-07 22:40:00
Akvis Enhancer V.3.0 image enhancement software : Akvis LLC announces the release of AKVIS Enhancer V.3.0 for Windows and Macintosh. The new algorithm introduced in v. 3.0 makes this detail-revealing software yet more efficient. The new version supports 16 bits per channel. It may happen that a photographer will take a great photo but some details within it will be lost due to unevenness of exposure; faces may be cast in shadow, or scenery wiped out by overexposure. Merely manipulating the brightness and contrast of the whole frame with photo editing software can improve the problem in some portions of a photo, but might then spoil other areas that need different treatment. Here lies Akvis Enhancer's strength.
