Nic Rossmüller : 2006-10-29 19:00:00
AgfaPhoto photo printers produced by Sagem : Sagem Communication has received the exclusive licence to use the AgfaPhoto trademark for their personal photo printers starting from today. The licence has been awarded by AgfaPhoto Holding GmbH, based in Cologne, Germany. Sagem Communication will produce and market 10x15 personal photo printers under the AgfaPhoto brand in Europe, parts of Africa and Australia. Sagem Communication is a recognised player in the market, known for its high quality Sagem Photoeasy printers. Therefore Sagem Communication was a very natural partner for AgfaPhoto Holding for its photo printer range. Agfa has been one of the biggest names in the photographic industry for over a century.

AgfaPhoto digital cameras at Photokina

Ilse Jurriën : 2006-10-03 04:35:00
AgfaPhoto digital cameras at Photokina : At the Photokina 2006 there were not that many surprises in way of digital camera introductions. The last couple of years we have seen several big names disappearing from the digital imaging market or merged with other manufacturers. One well-known name in the world of photography is Agfa. And it is therefore quite nice to see the rebirth of this brand with a new series of digital cameras. Although AgfaPhoto is not developing any digital cameras and just bought the license to brand-name a line of cameras, we are welcoming AgfaPhoto and wish them success in this competitive world. The AgfaPhoto DC-633xs is a compact digital camera with a six Megapixel CCD image sensor on board and a 3x optical zoom lens.

Ralf Jurrien : 2006-09-26 00:58:00
Agfa Imagebox with Lucidiom APM 4.1 software : Retailers with Agfa Imagebox now can upgrade their legacy software with Lucidiom’s APM 4.1 kiosk software. Lucidiom, developer of the APM photo kiosk, had been the OEM software supplier to Agfa before Agfa closed its doors this past year. Imagebox owners familiar with Agfa v6 will be right at home with the APM 4.1 and will be able to take advantage of the new power and money-making features without any learning curve. Lucidiom already has upgraded several hundred Imageboxes with new software, allowing retailers to manage all of their kiosks online from any location and handle every business need - from analyzing business operations to tracking sales trends to providing customer support.
