CompactFlash Memory Card Ejectors from 3M

Nic Rossmüller : 2006-07-23 09:32:00
CompactFlash Memory Card Ejectors from 3M : PCB designers can obtain greater design flexibility using three new CompactFlash (CF) Type I and II card ejector designs from the 3M Electronic Solutions Division. 3M long guide CF II headers mate to standard CompactFlash Type I and II flash memory cards. 3M offers three new ejection options. The first, an alternate button ejection configuration, ejects from the left side when attached to a top mount header and the right side when attached to a bottom mount header. When put together with the already available standard ejector, this configuration allows designers the flexibility to put the eject button on either side of their card, regardless of board mount side.

Jasper Huitink : 2006-01-05 16:10:00
LCD optical film manufacturing facility by 3M : 3M announced today its intention to build a liquid crystal display (LCD) optical film manufacturing facility in Poland to support the fast-growing liquid crystal display (LCD)-TV market in Europe and to better serve its customers. Europe currently represents the largest market for liquid crystal display televisions, according to DisplaySearch, and is expected to remain the fastest-growing market through 2009. 3M plans to purchase a piece of land in Wroclaw near its existing manufacturing operation, which is about 340 kilometers from 3M's offices in Warsaw. 3M hopes that its manufacturing facility will be a success.
