X-Rite premium ICC profiles for Wacom Cintiq 21UX

X-rite premium ICC : X-Rite today announced that its premium ICC profiles have been selected by Wacom to be bundled with each of its Cintiq 21UX interactive pen displays. An ICC profile is a standard for specifying the attributes of imaging devices such as digital cameras, scanners, displays, and printers so that the color of an image remains true from source to destination. X-Rite's advanced ICC profile technology is quickly becoming the preferred solution for producing the most accurate, consistent color results, which are critical to designers, photographers and artists. X-Rite will include a special offer on its award winning X-Rite MonacoOPTIXXR solution.

Wacom updates OS X Tablet Drivers : Wacom Technology Corp. has posted a new driver for professional pen tablets running on Mac OS X v.10.2.6 & later. This driver works in both the native and classic environment of OS X. For this driver release, Wacom added support for the Intuos and Intuos2 tablets and the older Cintiq models to the existing driver for Wacom Intuos3 and Cintiq. The driver supports the USB versions of all Intuos3 (PTZ), Intuos2 (XD), Intuos (GD) and CintiqPartner pen tablets and the Wacom Cintiq 21UX, 18SX, Cintiq 15X, PL-600 and PL-500 pen displays. It can be downloaded from WTC's website at www.wacom.com/productsupport. Wacom Intuos3 and Cintiq 21UX users will find a whole list of improvements.
