Sony DSC-N1 reviewed by Steves Digicams : Our good friends at Steves Digicams have published their review of the new Sony Cybershot DSC-N1 camera. This new Cybershot digital camera is packed in a compact aluminum body that is only 22.7mm thick. The Sony DSC-N1 incorporates a 8.1 effective Megapixel Super HAD CCD and a Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar 3x optical zoom lens. The biggest surprise is the large 3-inch Clear Photo LCD Plus monitor that features a touch screen operation. The T-series of Cybershots are all ultra-compact, ultra-thin and ultra-light weight. The Sony T3 digital camera was launched in 2004 and features Sony’s Real Imaging Processor circuit. This ultra compact Cybershot camera is fast and shoots bursts of up to four full-resolution images at three frames per second. The Sony T7 camera has a 2.5inch hybrid LCD screen, covering about two-thirds of the back of the digital camera and the Sony T33 digital camera is practically the same as the two others, featuring a 5.1 Mega Pixel Super HAD CCD and a Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar lens that operates internally.

Steves digital camera review Canon Rebel XT | EOS 350D : Our good friends over at Steves Digicams have published an extensive review of the new Canon Rebel XT | EOS 350D digital camera. It is an upgrade of the Canon EOS Rebel | EOS 300D but incorporates a 8.0 Megapixel image sensor. The launch completes a refresh of the entire digital EOS line-up and confirms Canon's commitment to digital SLR research and development. "The new Canon 350D will now take over," said Mogens Jensen, Head of Canon Consumer Imaging Europe. "Canon predicts the D-SLR market will double in size by the end of 2006." The Canon EOS 350D features a newly developed, second generation, extremely low noise APS-C size 8.0 Megapixel CMOS sensor.
