Ampex vs. Kodak Litigation Federal District Court : Ampex Corporation initiated litigation against Kodak in October 2004 for infringement of one of Ampex's patents used in digital still cameras. Proceedings were initiated at the International Trade Commission (ITC) and also in U.S. District Court in Delaware. Mark Peters : 2005-07-30 16:50:27
Panasonic FZ-30 Mega Optical Image Stabilizer explained : With digital cameras there's more to picture quality than pixels and lenses. Panasonic has taken picture quality to new levels by equipping Panasonics Lumix cameras with optical image stabilization technology originally developed for video cameras. Panasonics Mega Optical Image Stabilizer helps minimize the hand movement that causes many photos to look blurry and poorly focused. This new feature was build in the recently announced Panasonic Lumix DMC FZ-30. The newly incorporated Extra Optical Zoom extends the zoom ratio by using the center part of the high resolution CCD, to achieve 15.3x for 5-Megapixel and 19.1x for 3-Megapixel images with minimal deterioration.
