Big Christmas card delivered to the Queen of England : The Queen of England has received the largest Christmas card ever to be sent to the Royal family. The huge 9ft x 5ft card was hand-delivered to Buckingham Palace by a group of young children from NCH, the children’s charity. The Big Christmas card was received by Palace footmen on behalf of the Royal family. The giant Christmas card contains festive digital photos from thousands of British people across the country, and also features goodwill messages from Britons to the Royal family. Photo expert HP spent the last two months collecting the photos and messages as part of their “Colourful Christmas” charity fundraising effort for NCH, the Children’s Charity.

The all-titanium Leica model fetched 90,000 euros, a new world record for cameras built after 1945. The highest bid at the Leica camera auction of the Viennese photography scene 'Westlicht' was made by a collector from Thailand by phone (for more info visit www.westlicht.com). The LEICA M7 with the special serial no. 3,000,000 was awarded to Salgado by Leica Camera AG, Solms in honor of his extensive and extremely human photographic work.

Seventeen percent of teenagers in the study selected the device as a desired gift, a 9 percent increase over 2003.
