Nikon introduces Face priority AF : Nikon Corporation proudly introduces an exciting new technology which will make capturing sharp portraits extremely easy. This new technology carries the name of Face priority AF and the Nikon Coolpix 7900, 5900 and 7600 digital cameras will be the first to use this technology integrated in the cameras. The Face priority AF uses the newest technology to automatically detect human faces in a picture and then adjust the focus to this information. As a result the user only has to capture his family and friends on a random spot in the image. The camera then focuses correctly on the faces of a person.
