Sigma 30mm f1.4 EX lens availability

Dennis Hissink : 2005-06-27 18:50:00
Sigma 30mm f1.4 EX lens availability: The large aperture Sigma 30mm F1.4 EX DC HSM lens is designed to match the APS-C size image sensors of digital SLR cameras. Two SLD glass elements are especially effective in the compensation of magnification chromatic aberration. Glass mold aspherical lens at rear group of lens reduces color aberration and provides high-quality image results. From 40cm minimum focusing distance to infinity, this lens creates very sharp images with high contrast. The HSM models provide quiet high-speed auto-focus shooting, as well as full-time manual focus. Large Maximum Aperture of F1.4 can perform in a great range of applications, including snapshots, portraiture, indoor shooting and landscape photography.

Sigma Flash Bounce Reflector for EF 500 series

Sigma Flash Bounce Reflector for EF 500 series : The Sigma Corporation is pleased to announce the new Flash Bounce Reflector designed for use with the EF 500 series flashguns. This accessory can be fitted to Sigma’s electronic flashguns EF-500 DG Super and EF-500 DG ST and reflects indirect light onto the subject. The Sigma Reflector reflects soft and natural lighting with a surface light source, which will result in a three dimensional effect. This makes the Flash Bounce Reflector from Sigma an ideal accessory for portrait photography. The Flash Bounce Reflector can easily be attached and detached by using the Velcro strips (included).

Sigma 120-300mm f2.8 EX DG HSM lens introduction

Ilse Jurriën : 2005-05-23 23:15:11
Sigma 120-300mm f2.8 EX DG HSM : Sigma is pleased to announce the launch of the new Sigma 120-300mm f2.8 EX DG HSM lens, a digitally optimised telephoto zoom lens covering ultra-telephoto up to 300mm with a fast maximum aperture of F2.8 at all focal lengths. This lens represents a revolutionary leap forward in ease of use. This was achieved by transforming a large-aperture 300mm F2.8 lens into a zoom lens that allows you to determine the picture composition you want without having to change your vantage point. It has two SLD (the special low dispersion) glass elements in front group and another element of SLD is being used for rear group for excellent correction of chromatic aberration.

Mark Peters : 2005-05-23 08:00:00
Sigma APO 70-200mm F2.8 EX DG HSM lens launched : Sigma Corporation is pleased to announce the launch of the new APO 70-200mm F2.8 EX DG HSM lens. This telephoto zoom lens has a large maximum aperture of f2.8 which remains constant throughout the zoom range and it is optimised for digital SLR cameras. Two pieces of SLD (the special low dispersion) glass in the front lens group and another two in the rear group offer excellent correction of chromatic aberration. High optical performance is demonstrated throughout the entire zoom range. The new multi layer lens coating and lens design reduce flare and ghost, which is a common problem with digital cameras and also creates an optimum color balance.
