Yoram Cedar vice president at SanDisk : SanDisk Corporation US announced today the promotion of Yoram Cedar to the position of executive vice president of the handset business and corporate engineering at SanDisk United States of America. In his new position, Cedar will report to Sanjay Mehrotra, SanDisk’s chief operating officer, and will have responsibility for leading the creation of new flash memory platforms and markets for the mobile phone business. In addition, he will continue to have responsibility for SanDisk’s worldwide corporate engineering organization as well as developing the U3 (USB smart drives companie), education, mobile content and ecommerce markets.

Tom Baker joins SanDisk : Tom Baker has more than 25 years of experience in human resources and organizational development and reports to Judy Bruner, executive vice president of administration and Chief Financial Officer. Baker’s responsibilities include developing strategies and programs that enhance the company’s recruiting, compensation, benefits, management development, diversity and workplace culture. Bruner said, “Due to unprecedented demand for our products on a global basis, SanDisk is expanding rapidly and recently surpassed 1,000 employees. SanDisk Barry Kasarda head supply chain planning : SanDisk Corporation today announced the appointment of Barry Kasarda as vice president of supply chain planning. In this newly created role, Kasarda is responsible for a wide range of critical supply chain activities that include wafer planning, silicon sourcing, subcontractor forecast and production control, capacity planning, and inventory control. He reports to Jose Flahaux, senior vice president, worldwide operations. Flahaux said, “As SanDisk shipment volume and production portfolio continues to grow, the resulting supply chain challenges require a strong and focused organization. Barry will be responsible for streamlining the supply chain planning infrastructure and processes.
