SanDisk Sansa Car Transmitter

Jasper Huitink : 2005-09-10 12:31:00
Sansa car transmitter : SanDisk Corporation today introduced the Sansa Car Transmitter, a device that will play music stored on a SanDisk Sansa MP3 digital player through a car radio. The stereo transmitter plugs into a standard vehicle cigarette lighter and pipes music from the portable player through an unused FM frequency on the radio. The transmitter covers the full FM band, from 88.1 to 107.9 megahertz (MHz), so a user can select any weak frequency. This allows motorists to take a large library of music as many as 48 hours of MP3 music and 96 hours of WMA music when using a Sansa 1 gigabyte MP3 player combined with an optional SanDisk 2 gigabyte SD flash memory card. And that for the little price of $59,99.

SanDisk digital audio player brings you to the top

Dennis Hissink : 2005-07-19 23:00:00
SanDisk digital audio player brings you to the top : Huddled in a tent on the flanks of Mt. McKinley in Alaska, with the wind howling and the temperatures dipping to -40 degrees Fahrenheit (-40 Celsius), a climber has few options to relax and stay motivated during long waiting periods and brutally cold nights. But Canadian mountaineer Gilles Mousseau found a way to beat the alpine blues. Every evening, as he and his seven companions scaled the peak that is also known as "Denali," he would switch on his SanDisk Digital Audio Player. Keeping the tiny player inside his down-filled parka or sleeping bag, the 52-year-old software executive from Gatineau, Quebec, could play his favorite songs and even receive distant FM radio stations.
