Sony VPL-CS20A portable projector : Sony is introducing a new projector model; the Sony VPL-CS20A, designed for an array of permanent and mobile presentation applications in the corporate meetings, rental, education and healthcare markets. The new Sony projector is a highly portable and compact projector. Mitsubishi is the first to introduce BrilliantColor technology from Texas Instruments in its new projectors. Both new projectors offer BrilliantColor for Texas Instruments DLP technology, which utilizes a new color-processing algorithm and system level enhancements to enable higher brightness for both business and home projectors while providing truer, more vibrant colors.

The SXR-R110 projector uniquely bridges the gap between today’s 2K standard and the future Hollywood studio standard of 4K. The Sony SRX-R110 conforms to DCI (Digital Cinema Initiative) System Specification standards for digital cinema picture quality and achieves an extraordinary 4K (4096 x 2160) image resolution, four times the resolution of a 2K projector, in anticipation of future 4K movie releases by the major Hollywood studios. Europe’s first commercial installation of the SRX-R110 4K projector is at the Nova Kino in Trondheim (Norway).

Possibly the world’s smallest projectors, the PocketProjector and PocketProjector SD each weigh in at 14 ounces and fit easily into a purse, coat pocket or the palm of a hand.
