Pentax Optio WPi review : Quite soon after Pentax had introduced the first Optio WP camera, the Pentax Optio WPi was born. The Pentax WPi at first glance seems to be a compact digital camera for the day to day photography if it weren't for its ability of photographing underwater. This feature is still quite unique on current digital cameras; few manufacturers offer this enhanced creative possibility. When making the step in taking the Pentax Optio WPi as your companion underwater you can count on a functioning camera to a depth of 1.5 metres for a maximum time span of 30 minutes. If you do want to photograph underwater for a longer period of time and deeper than 1.5 metres you'd have to look for a separate underwater case.

Pentax Optio WP review : The Pentax Optio WP compact digital camera features JIS Class 8-equivalent waterproof performance and has a body only 22mm thick. What's more, the new Optio WP also features a 2.0-inch LCD monitor, a 3X optical zoom lens and the imaging power of 5.0 effective megapixels. Developed in line with the three keywords, 'Sportiness', 'Elegance', and, 'Leisure', the OptioWP provides the user with the advantage of waterproof performance that enables confident shooting during a range of water sports. And unusually for a camera with such sporting capability, the Pentax WP also has surprisingly sophisticated styling that makes it ideal for use on practically any kind of occasion.

Pentax *ist DL review : With a compact, lightweight body, simplified operations and outstanding cost performance, the Pentax *istDL is designed to extend the advantages of high-quality digital SLR photography, including lens interchangeability, to photographers of all levels, even those who are unfamiliar with digital and SLR photography. The *ist DL SLR camera is not intended as a successor of the current Pentax *ist DS, but it surely is a digital reflex that looks rather similar to the *ist DS. The new *ist DL was designed as an affordable starter camera by further advancing Pentax’s digital camera develop-ment concepts of "user-friendliness" and "a harmony between ease of use and portability."
