Nokia N70 multimedia 3G smartphone introduction : Nokia today introduced the Nokia N70 multimedia, a beautifully designed, compact and easy-to-use 3G smartphone with versatile mobile photography, personal productivity and entertainment features. Incorporating a complete smartphone feature set, as well as a 2 megapixel camera, flash and front camera for video calling, the Nokia N70 comes fully equipped with stereo FM radio, a digital music player and new 3D games. Measuring just 108.8 x 53 x 17.5 mm (95.9 cc), the Nokia N70 is the smallest ever 2 megapixel 3G smartphone based on the Series 60 Platform. The Nokia N70 is expected to be available in the third quarter of 2005, a variant for EDGE markets will be available at a later date.

Carl Zeiss optics for Nokia camera phones : Nokia, the global leader in mobility, and Carl Zeiss, the world's leading optics company, today announced a collaboration to incorporate Carl Zeiss optics to Nokia's camera phones. The two companies will bring the design expertise and stringent quality requirements of Carl Zeiss to Nokia's product creation process for high-end camera devices. As a result of the collaboration, consumers will be able to capture, share, store and print better quality images with Nokia's flagship imaging devices. Both parties regard this agreement as the beginning of a long-term relationship. The first Nokia product to incorporate Carl Zeiss optics and carry the ZEISS brand is the Nokia N90 Multimedia.

Nokia N90 camera phone introduction : Nokia today proudly presented the Nokia N90 camera phone, an advanced and inspirational multimedia device. Starring Carl Zeiss optics and a full set of advanced digital camera features, the Nokia N90 is targeted at high-technology enthusiasts who value the ultimate in connected mobile photography. The Nokia N90 boasts a 2 Megapixel camera with autofocus and 20x digital zoom, integrated flash, macro mode for sharp close-ups, and high quality video capture with on-phone editing capabilities. "We foresee that already this year, the camera phone market will grow to be over four times the size of the digital camera market," said Juha Putkiranta, Senior Vice President, Multimedia Imaging, Nokia.

Nokia 6230i camera phone introduction : Nokia unveiled a new camera phone, further strengthening its portfolio of mid-range feature rich, voice-centric handsets. The Nokia 6230i camera phone, which adds a Megapixel camera and push to talk functionality to the highly popular Nokia 6230. The Nokia 6230i is expected to start shipping in the second quarter of 2005. The high-resolution screen (208 x 208 pixels) of the Nokia 6230i is an ideal backdrop for rich multimedia content. It displays colourful pictures taken by the built-in 1.3 Megapixel camera with a 3 x digital zoom. The video recorder of the Nokia 6230i allows users to record videos of up to one hour, based on the storage of the MMC card included in the sales package.
