Samsung SCH-B250 satellite DMB phone

Samsung SCH-B250 satellite DMB phone : Samsung Electronics, a leading provider of mobile phones, announced the launch of its fourth satellite DMB phone (model: SCH-B250) following the release of the B100, B130 and Samsung B200. Samsung's new B250 phone boasts more compact design and improved features while maintaining the basic product concept of previous DMB phones, which supports horizontal viewing. The B250 is also the smallest Samsung DMB handset ever. The Samsung B250 phone is a folder type with pivotal LCD screen which rotates 90 degrees into landscape mode. The Samsung B250 satellite DMB phone follows the same basic design as the hugely popular Samsung SCH-V500 camera phone that went on the market in August of last year.

Nokia N90 voted European media phone of the year : Nokia today announced that its flagship imaging device, the Nokia N90, has been awarded the European Media Phone of the Year 2005-2006 by EISA. The award is an endorsement of the Nokia N90's industry-leading feature set, which makes it one of the most high performance devices in the marketplace. Commenting on the award, EISA praised the Nokia N90 mobile phone as a 'true best-of-breed multimedia phone, stuffed full of advanced photo, video audio and messaging features'. EISA also highlighted the Nokia N90's Carl Zeiss optics which 'endows it with serious photographic ability, including capturing and editing 2 megapixel digital photos and MPEG 4 352x288 resolution video.'

The Samsung MM-A800 is a very interesting mobile that not only shoots stills but also records video in VGA format (640x480). The Samsung MMA800 camera phone has a dual band, tri-mode CDMA/CDMA2000 1xRTT 800/1900 MHz, AMPS 800 MHz and is equipped with a 262,000 pixel TFT display with a QVGA resolution of 240x320 pixels. The interesting thing in a 'photographic point of view' is the integrated 2 Megapixel camera which shoot photos at a resolution up to 1632x1224 pixels and offers auto focus and a 2.5x digital zoom.

Samsung SCH-B200 / SPH-B2000 satellite DMB phone : Samsung Electronics announced the launch of its latest satellite DMB phone (model number: SCH B200 / SPH B2000) with a unique "slide and rotate" form factor. Samsung's B200, which was first unveiled at MIPTV/MILIA in Cannes, France last April, is the most recent addition to its growing line-up of satellite DMB phones. The phone's unique design allows users to first slide, and then rotate the LCD screen 90-degrees for a landscape viewing orientation that is more ideal for watching broadcasted video content. Satellite DMB programs, along with gaming, photo-taking, MP3 playing, and VOD features can now be enjoyed with more convenience.


Fujifilm adds Nextel PhotoShare to mobile service

Fujifilm adds Nextel PhotoShare to mobile service : Fuji Photo Film U.S.A., Inc. and Summus, Inc. announced that Nextel Communications is adding easy, convenient and fun-to-use photo management that allows customers to store, share and print photos from their multimedia-messaging-enabled Nextel phones and other digital cameras. The capabilities are based on Fujifilm's Get the Picture Mobile Service. In addition to enhancing the Nextel PhotoShare site with greater image management tools, Fujifilm is providing an easy-to-use, interactive phone application developed by Summus, Inc. This application enables Nextel users to access the more than 3,100 participating digital processing retail stores nationwide and get prints within a hour.
