Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM lens : Canon, a leader in photographic and imaging technology, today releases the Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM zoom lens. Featuring the latest 3-stop Image Stabilizer for outstanding camera shake reduction, the lens also features super responsive auto focus. Replacing the popular EF 75-300mm IS USM, the world’s first interchangeable lens with Image Stabilizer (IS), the lens is expected to appeal to serious amateur nature and sports photographers looking to achieve outstanding results while shooting hand held. Tokina AT-X 124 AF PRO DX lens : Tokina has launched the all-new AT-X 124 AF PRO DX lens, with focal range of 12mm F4 - 24mm F22, designed specifically for Canon and Nikon digital SLR cameras with an APS-C sized sensor. The ultra wide-angle zoom has the equivalent of an 18-36mm zoom range on a 35mm film camera, while maintaining a bright constant aperture of F4. The Tokina AT-X 124 lens incorporates Tokina’s key technology with fast internal focusing using Tokina’s One Touch focus clutch mechanism which allows the lens to AF focus faster and switching between auto and manual focus is as easy as snapping the focus ring back and forth. The Tokina AT-X 124 AF PRO DX is due in the UK in September and has a SRP of £399.99 (inc vat).

Konica Minolta AF 35mm F1.4 G lens introduction : Konica Minolta Photo Imaging, Inc., has developed the Konica Minolta AF 35mm F1.4G (D) lens (Product name has been tentatively named for this release, with the final name to be announced at later date) interchangeable lens for SLR cameras of the Konica Minolta Dynax/Maxxum Series. An overview of the lens is given herein. Launch plan of this lens is in spring of 2006. The Konica Minolta AF 35mm F1.4G (D) was developed as the successor model of the Minolta AF 35mm F1.4G lens that has been well accepted amongst users for the beautiful defocused effect rendered around the aperture. This lens was developed as an interchangeable lens for the Dynax/Maxxum Series.
