Konica Minolta DT lenses introduction : Konica Minolta Photo Imaging U.S.A., Inc., announces the development of three new "DT" lenses , interchangeable Digital technology (DT) lenses designed for the Dynax Series digital SLR cameras, including the Konica Minolta Dynax 7D DSLR camera. These new Konica Minolta zoom lenses will expand the line-up of Konica Minolta interchangeable lenses for Konica Minolta Dynax Series cameras. The Konica Minolta DT Lenses employ a new optical system that is specifically designed for digital SLR cameras, including the Konica Minolta Dynax 7D, which incorporate an APS-C size CCD image sensor. Plans are to launch these Digital Technology (DT) Lenses worldwide in the fall of 2005.

Konica Minolta Color Laser 2400 introduction : Konica Minolta USA introduced its color laser alternative to inkjet printers: the Konica Minolta magicolor 2400W and the magicolor 2430DL. The magicolor 2400-series makes color laser technology as affordable as inkjet printers. "SOHO users have typically thought of inkjet printers as the lowest cost option for color printing," stated Stephen Fletcher, president and COO of Konica Minolta Printing Solutions. "However, when such factors as ink consumption, print speed, output durability, and productivity are considered, users are realizing that inkjet printers are not as economical as they might seem, and are not really designed for today's high-demand office printing.
