The Dukes of Hazzard for Mobile Phones via Kodak : Fans of the hit television series The Dukes of Hazzard, who are eagerly awaiting the August 5 movie release from Warner Bros. Pictures, can get a jump-start on the action, thanks to a new Kodak promotional campaign. From now until August 26, 2005, consumers who sign up for a free 30-day trial of Kodak Mobile Service will receive a free ticket to the movie and one of four special edition mobile phone wallpaper images featuring Johnny Knoxville, Jessica Simpson, Seann William Scott and the famous General Lee. To take advantage of the promotion, consumers simply send a text message from their mobile phones to Kodak (56325) with "Dukes" in the body of the message.

Notice is hereby given that a class action lawsuit was filed in the United States District Court for the Western District of New York on behalf of all securities purchasers of Eastman Kodak Company between April 23, 2003 and September 25, 2003 inclusive (the "Class Period"). The complaint charges Kodak, Daniel A. Carp, and Robert H. Brust with violations of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934. More specifically, the Complaint alleges that the Company failed to disclose and misrepresented the following material adverse facts which were known to defendants or recklessly disregarded by them.

Kodak Digital Technology expands opportunities : Just as digital technology created a bigger consumer photography market, it will provide the same growth opportunities for commercial printers, marketers and data managers, said Daniel A. Carp, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Eastman Kodak Company. In a keynote address today to attendees of the AIIM On Demand Conference and Exposition at the Philadelphia Convention Center, Carp highlighted both the forces transforming the graphic communications industry and the traditions that can serve as guideposts for companies navigating those changes. "During times of industry transformation, change is not a choice. It is a necessity," Carp said.

Sandra Morris Vice President Kodak Imaging Service : Eastman Kodak Company announced that Sandra Morris has been hired as vice president and general manager, Digital Imaging Services Group, within the company's Digital & Film Imaging Systems business unit. She will report to Bernard Masson, president of D&FIS and a senior vice president of the company, effective today.
As general manager of Digital Imaging Services, Morris will be responsible for driving growth of the Kodak EasyShare Gallery, the company's online photo sharing and printing service, as well as driving Kodak Mobile Service, its mobile phone-centric picture sharing offering. The Kodak EasyShare Gallery has 20 million members and over 1 billion images stored.

Kodak licenses OLED display technology to Fujifilm : Eastman Kodak Company said that Fuji Electric Holdings Co., Ltd. of Japan (Fuji) is a licensee of Kodak's organic light emitting diode OLED technology, and is applying its license toward development of its own color conversion matrix CCM full-color OLED display technology with the intention of offering flat panel passive matrix displays. Fuji is comprised of four operating divisions: Fuji Electric Systems, Fuji Electric FA Components & Systems, Fuji Electric Device Technology and Fuji Electric Retail Systems. The company is focused on the development of high performance components, products, systems and services in the industrial, automation and information device fields.

Kodak shipped the most digital cameras in the USA : Eastman Kodak Co., which shipped more digital cameras in the United States in 2004 than any of its Japanese rivals, retained its edge in the first quarter, a market research firm said Monday. Kodak shipped 900,000 point-shoot digital cameras to domestic retailers in the January-to-March quarter - 41 per cent more than in the first quarter of 2004 - and its market share rose to 20.4 per cent from 18.1 per cent a year ago, according to IDC, based in Framingham, Mass. Canon strengthened to a second-place ranking with 850,000 shipments, up 72 per cent from a year ago. Its slice of the U.S. market surged from 14 per cent to 19.3 per cent, IDC said.

Kodak supports work of The Prince’s Trust : Kodak will be supporting the unique work of The Prince’s Trust in the areas of two of its key UK sites in support of young people facing barriers into work or further education. Kodak will adopt a Team of young people between 16-25 for a 12-week programme of personal development in both Hemel Hempstead and Harrow, with the specific aim of recruiting a proportion of participants from community disability groups. In Hemel Hempstead the programme will start on 13th June at West Herts College on the Dacorum Campus in association with Watford YMCA. In Harrow the programme will start 26th September at The Lodge, Harrow-on-the-Hill in association with Ealing, Hammersmith and West London College.
