Kodak Improves MatchPrint Digital Halftone Yellow : Kodak helps commercial printers comply with emerging print specifications with the introduction of a new high density (“HD”) yellow media donor for its MatchPrint Digital Halftone Proofing System. The MatchPrint Digital Halftone HD-GT Yellow Media expands the color gamut of the MatchPrint Digital Halftone system color set for improved simulation of the proposed GRACoL specification (DTR004) when used with MatchPrint Digital Halftone HD-GT Cyan, Magenta, and Black Media. MatchPrint Digital Halftone system users who want and need to be in compliance with the emerging print specification for the commercial market will be able to do so with Kodak’s new yellow donor.

Kodak EasyShare digital cameras ranked highest : Solidifying its reputation for quality and ease of use among consumers, Eastman Kodak Company today again captured the highest rankings in two of the four segments in the J.D. Power and Associates 2005 Digital Camera Satisfaction Study. In the second annual consumer study evaluating digital camera performance, connectivity, cost and appearance, Kodak EasyShare digital still cameras ranked highest in customer satisfaction in two price categories: $200-399 and $199 or less. This is the second year in a row that Kodak has captured the coveted $200-399 price segment. Digital cameras in these two segments comprise more than 85 percent of the U.S. market, according to NPD Techworld.

The new inkjet long-roll format will further meet the demands of professional photographers by delivering increased printing efficiencies. Kodak Professional inkjet media long-rolls have the same high-quality, instant-dry paper characteristics as the popular cut sheet paper, and are available in lustre (E-surface) and glossy (F-surface) finishes. The long-roll paper is compatible with Epson Stylus Pro wide-format printers.

Kodak EasyShare system : Kodak offers multiple accessories for its Kodak EasyShare P850 and EasyShare P880 series digital cameras to help serious photographers express their creativity. These include the Kodak P20 Zoom Flash, which works with both of the new P-series cameras. Its power (GN: 40m at 80mm, with coverage up to 35 feet with the P-series cameras at ISO 100), zoom head and bounce flash capability deliver greater lighting control as compared to the included pop-up flashes or third-party flash units. OLED Technology licensed to Orion Korea

OLED Technology licensed to Orion Korea : Eastman Kodak Company is licensing its organic light emitting diode (OLED) display technology to Orion OLED Co., Ltd. of Korea. This brings to more than 15 the number of display manufacturers licensing Kodak's passive matrix organic display technology. "We believe OLED display's brightness and readability will add value to the products we make," said Jae Hwal Yoo, chief executive officer of Orion OLED. "Kodak's experience and leadership in OLED materials and displays were important considerations in our decision to license its technology." Orion OLED manufactures OLED panels and module displays for a variety of consumer products, including digital cameras, cellular phones and MP3 players.

Kodak company two new Vice Presidents : Eastman Kodak announced today that its board of directors has elected Sandra Morris and Jeff Jacobson as Vice Presidents of the company, effective immediately. Sandra Morris, 51, joined Kodak as Vice President and General Manager, Digital Imaging Services group in May 2005. Morris is responsible for driving growth of the Kodak EasyShare Gallery (formerly Ofoto), as well as expanding the Kodak Mobil Service. Morris was formerly a senior executive at Intel Corporation and is widely respected for her strong strategic vision and operating skills. During her 17 years with the company, she contributed to Intel's multimedia and communications products, as well as online-related marketing activities.
