Fuji Photo Film launches Halloween pandamonium : Fuji Photo Film today announced "Fujifilm Halloween Pandamonium" a national sweepstakes campaign being launched in conjunction with popular family events hosted by zoos across the country where Fujifilm will have a key presence this Halloween season. Fujifilm Halloween Pandamonium events will take place at the following zoos: the Bronx and Central Park Zoos in New York City; Brookfield Zoo in Chicago; Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden; Detroit Zoological Park; Denver Zoological Gardens; Los Angeles Zoo and Botanical Gardens; Memphis Zoo; Smithsonian's National Zoo in Washington, D.C.; Oregon Zoo in Portland; and the San Francisco Zoological Gardens.

Fujifilm GetPix Dropbox for photo prints : Fujifilm introduced the GetPix Digital Dropbox, offering consumers an affordable way to get digital photo prints at retail locations. Wal-Mart and SAM’S CLUB locations are the first retailers to offer this 2-day off-site printing. The Digital Dropbox is the industry’s first free-standing unit that combines a traditional film drop box, with a digital order terminal. Consumers can drop off their film in an envelope or simply insert their digital media into the terminal, enter their name and phone number, choose print size and quantity, remove their media, take their receipt, and go. By November, all 3,400 Wal-Mart and SAM’S CLUB locations will offer Fujifilm’s Digital Dropbox solution.

The broadcast will begin as a forerunner of the Confederation Cup 2005, which the company is also supporting as an official partner. While consumer products show a slight decline, the industrial sectors are producing healthy growth rates despite adversary market trends. "Although the German subsidiary of the world's largest photo-imaging conglomerate has been prepared for the lightning-speed changes in the imaging industry for years, the flooding of the market with digital cameras has had a substantial impact on the development of the German business," Helmut Rupsch, General Manager, reported in a press interview. He further explained that in the past year it has been particularly difficult to generate profits in the hardware sector.
