Dennis Hissink : 2005-06-30 01:15:00
Fujifilm Frontier promotional package introduction : Promotional package for Frontier retailers Vouchers for free pictures as proof of quality. The current Fujifilm promotional event for FDi partners is running under the motto 'astonished not ashamed'. Special quality has always ensured particularly satisfied customers. Retailers who use a digital minilab from the Frontier series are called upon to show their customers the difference between a standard picture and one produced by the Frontier system. The retailer is given vouchers in order to do this. He can then offer each customer the opportunity of replacing a standard picture with one of noticeable better quality, as a free sample. To get a taste. A taste for the better.

Dennis Hissink : 2005-06-29 14:00:29
Fujifilm FDi Mobile travel around Germany :FDi Mobile are on the road for digital pictures. There are already 20 vehicles in Germany as mobile advertisements. Digital photographers take more pictures. The number of pictures grows every day and just keeps on growing. Globally there was an increase from 80 thousand million pictures in 2004 to 110 thousand million in the current year, a terrific rise of 38%. That should get the attention of photo retailers. Only a small proportion of amateur photographers knows that it is possible to order photos from a digital camera from a photo retailer. The GFK company for consumer research found that 9 out of 10 households believe that the home printer is the best way of doing this job.

Fujifilm relies on quality, not quantity

Dennis Hissink : 2005-01-12 07:00:00
Fujifilm relies on quality, not quantity : Two very different trends dominate Fujifilm Europe GmbH's current economic scenario. While consumer products show a slight decline, the industrial sectors are producing healthy growth rates despite adversary market trends. "Although the German subsidiary of the world's largest photo-imaging conglomerate has been prepared for the lightning-speed changes in the imaging industry for years, the flooding of the market with digital cameras has had a substantial impact on the development of the German business," Helmut Rupsch, General Manager, reported in a press interview. He further explained that in the past year it has been particularly difficult to generate profits in the hardware sector.
