Michael Dell attends International CES 2006 : The International Consumer Electronics Show announced that Michael Dell, founder and chairman of Dell Inc., will deliver an Industry Insider presentation at the 2006 CES. Produced by the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA), the International CES 2006 is the world's largest consumer technology tradeshow and takes place January 5-8, 2006, in Las Vegas, Nevada. "Dell is a leader in meeting the technology needs of today's consumers and businesses, from notebook and desktop systems to home networking, digital imaging, video and mobile entertainment, along with the service and support that customers need in today's technology-driven world," said Gary Shapiro, CEA's president and CEO.

CES Innovations 2006 : Emerging technologies, Innovations 2006 Design and Engineering Award honorees, TechZones, Industry Insiders and special media events will take center stage at the newest venue of the 2006 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES), Innovations Plus at the Sands. The 2006 International CES, the world's largest annual consumer technology tradeshow, runs January 5-8, in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Sands Expo and Convention Center, which is scheduled to open early at 8 a.m. each day of the show, will serve as the new destination for Innovations Plus at the 2006 International CES. The successful CES Industry Insider Series also will move to Innovations Plus at the Sands in 2006.

International Consumer Electronics Show 2006 : The International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) announced its Innovations 2006 Design and Engineering Awards Honorees. Google president Larry Page at CES 2006 : The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) announced that Larry Page, co-founder and president of products of Google, will deliver a keynote address at the 2006 CES. Page's address is slated for Friday, January 6, 2006, at 4 p.m. in the Hilton Theater at the Las Vegas Hilton. The 2006 International CES, the world's largest consumer technology tradeshow, runs January 5-8 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Larry Page co-founded Google as the CEO in 1998 and grew the company to more than 200 employees and profitability before moving into his role as president of products in April 2001. He continues to share responsibility for Google's day-to-day operations and serve on Google's Board of Directors.

CeBIT 2006 without Sony : According to Manfred Gerdes, director Sony Germany, Japanese electronics giants Sony will not attend the CeBIT 2006, the world's biggest technology fair held annually in Hanover, Germany in 2006. "The CeBIT 2006 is not the right platform for us," Manfred Gerdes told the German newspaper Die Welt. He hinted that the CeBIT fair, which takes place every March, was out of step with the fast-moving world of technology and electronics. "In order to present new consumer products, we should really take part in a fair every three months for technology information products and every six months for electronic entertainment products."

Kodak EasyShare One photography gallery : Eastman Kodak Company today opened hands-on digital photography galleries in New York (102 Wooster St.) and San Francisco (1823 Union St.), showcasing the new EasyShare-One zoom digital camera, the world's first Wi-Fi consumer digital camera. The One Galleries are open November 1 through November 27 for people to experience and celebrate Kodak's innovative approach to digital photography, as well as the work of some of the world's leading professional photographers. A series of master classes with professional photographers including Helene DeLillo, Liz Gilbert, Jock McDonald, Damaso Reyes, Chris Rainier and others will be offered free of charge at the gallery.
