Amateur Photo Contest at 2007 Canon Envirothon : The Canon Envirothon is North America's largest high school environmental education competition. Teams battle for recognition and scholarships by demonstrating their knowledge of natural resources. They apply their training and problem-solving skills in five subject areas - soils, aquatics, forestry, wildlife, and a current environmental issue that changes each year. USA and Canadian student teams begin forming at the regional level, winners move on to the state/provincial event, and finally in late July, students participate in the Canon Envirothon, which is hosted by a different state or province each year. Any amateur photographer of any age can participate.
