Adobe Photoshop TV video podcast from NAPP : Today, the first episode of Adobe Photoshop TV went on the air this month. Photoshop TV is a brand new weekly video podcast from the National Association of Photoshop Professionals (NAPP), featuring "The Photoshop Guys:" Scott Kelby, Dave Cross and Matt Kloskowski. Using the innovative iTunes podcast technology recently introduced by Apple, Photoshop TV delivers tips, step-by-step tutorials, and the latest Photoshop and digital imaging news in a fun, entertaining format. Adobe Systems Incorporated announced that thousands of professional photographers are accessible to the creative community through an expanded update to its worldwide Photographers Directory. The Adobe Photographers Directory is now highlighted in the Favorites section of the Adobe Bridge feature in Adobe Creative Suite 2 and Adobe Photoshop CS2 imaging software and is also accessible from the Adobe Web site. Adobe has teamed up with nearly 20 professional photography associations worldwide, making it easy to find the right photographer without interrupting the flow of the overall design process and providing photographers with a global network to showcase their work and attract new clients.

Adobe DNG Digital Negative Specification updated : Adobe announced that its Digital Negative Specification - an industry wide initiative to create one unified format for archiving raw digital images - is continuing to win support from digital camera manufacturers and software makers. Ricoh is the latest camera manufacturer to support DNG, with its new GR digital camera. By providing DNG support directly in its cameras, Ricoh joins respected camera manufacturers Hasselblad and Leica, along with a wide range of software manufacturers such as Apple, Extensis, iView and ULead. Adobe DNG addresses a critical need in the market to preserve digital images in their purest form while also simplifying the raw workflow for photographers.

Royalty free image collections : Adobe Systems Incorporated announced four new royalty free image collections are available through Adobe Stock Photos, bringing the total number of images to over 450,000. Adobe Stock Photos is accessed through Adobe Bridge, a hub for productivity, imagery and creativity that provides multi-view file browsing and smooth cross-product integration within Adobe Creative Suite 2 and Photoshop CS2 versions of Adobe products. The additional images give Adobe Creative Suite 2 customers access to an even broader selection of royalty-free images, making it even easier to find and buy the right image without leaving the application.
