DP-Now: Extended review HP Photosmart 7960 printer

Mark Peters : 2004-01-21 10:12:32
Our good friend Ian Burley, owner and editor of the UK based DP-Now website, has published an extensive and thorough review of the HP Photosmart 7960 photo printer. The HP Photosmart 7960 photo printer is designed for professional creatives such as ad agencies, design studios and photographers who need photo lab imaging quality together with the ability to produce borderless prints in either 10 x 15 cm or A4 size. The 8-ink print system will be the major benefit of this all-round printer but users will also value the ability to select, edit, preview and print images via the 6.4 cm colour screen without having to connect to the Mac or PC. Ian has tested this HP printer and made a 10 pages and over 40 illustrations rich review.

DCViews: HP Photosmart 945 review

Mark Peters : 2004-01-06 02:45:45
Lasts year HP introduced their 5 Megapixel Photosmart 945. This camera features a total resolution of 5.3 Megapixels and 8x optical zoom. Combined with a digital zoom the total zoom ends up at 56x. The HP Photosmart 945 digital camera is HP’s first digital camera to feature HP’s Adaptive Lighting Technology, a innovative technology that enables digital cameras to produce photos that look more like what consumers see with their own eyes. It relates the brightness to the bright and dark areas in a photo, preserving gentle contrasts while compressing harsh contrasts. The result is automatic contrast adjustment that lightens poorly illuminated objects and produces a true-to-life image.

Happy New Year from LetsGoDigital

Dennis Hissink : 2004-01-01 00:00:01
2003 is over, 2004 here we come! I remember when I was a little boy (a long time ago) the year 2000 would be the year of flying cars, flying to your work, a real science fiction image! I am still riding my bike, the cars have a nice design but are still using 4 wheels to get to the next place and I am only flying in a regular plane. But, who would have expected that the traditional camera would undergo such a dramatic change? For our professional life digital imaging is important, for the majority of people living on our planet the daily struggle of life and trying to survive is the most important thing. Let us think how to improve life, not only for us, but also for those who need it the most! We wish all our readers a happy New Year!
