Jupitermedia announces acquisition Megapixel.net

Jupitermedia Corporation announced that it has acquired the assets of Megapixel.net (www.megapixel.net), a leading resource for digital camera owners and those interested in digital images. The site reviews new cameras, provides tips for photographers, hosts an active discussion community forum and features active buying exchanges for new and used equipment. Megapixel.net's creators, Denys and Olivier Bouton, will continue to manage the site for Jupitermedia, which is offered in both English and French versions. Terms of this acquisition were not disclosed. "We are pleased to add the Megapixel.net community to our network of graphics and images Web sites," stated Alan M. Meckler, Chairman and CEO of Jupitermedia Corporation.

The EasyShare CX7430 camera combines fully automatic point-and-shoot convenience, including nine scene and color modes, with 4 Megapixel resolution and the new Kodak Color Science image processing chip, resulting in vibrant prints up to 20x30 inches.
