August 2003 is the month Kodak introduced its new EasyShare camera. The EasyShare DX6490 is a digital camera based on the EasyShare concept that offers user's friendliness and simplicity. The new EasyShare model features a 10x optical Schneider-Kreuznach lens and a high resolution CCD that offers a resolution of 4 Megapixels. Large optical zoom lenses can be found on some quite strong brands like Fujifilm and Olympus and now we can add Kodak to the list. The specifications of the camera are very promising: a 10x optical zoom lens with a range of 38-380mm (equiv. to a 35mm camera), a newly designed fast and precise AF-system, a new Kodak Color Science algorithm for image editing inside the camera and a resolution of 4 Megapixels.
