The addition of a Predictive Focus Control has increased the speed of the AF function. With its 4-megapixel resolution, the DiMAGE Z2 will appeal to users with a slightly more developed appreciation of high-resolution photography.

Our good friends from Imaging Resource, the well-known and thorough website in the US have posted their review of the Olympus Camedia C-60z camera. This stylish digital camera was introduced in March 2004 and has definitely got a designer's look. The compact, metal body of brushed aluminium and classic design are sure to turn heads. The camera also offers the technical refinement needed to pursue almost every creative impulse. The TruePic TURBO image processor optimises picture quality by enhancing colour fidelity, the signal-to-noise ratio and sharpness. It also significantly accelerates the image processing speed. Another innovative feature is the sunshine LCD, ensuring a clear view of the picture in the monitor, even in bright light.

Our friends at Imaging Resource produced an in-depth review of the new Fujifilm FinePix S20 Pro camera. Just before the PMA 2004 in Las Vegas kicked off Fujifilm announced the new FinePix model. This new camera is very similar to that of the well-known Fujifilm FinePix S7000 camera but the engineers from Fujifilm did find the time to improve some features and add some as well. The FinePix S20 Pro seems to be more oriented towards the professional photographer or the well-equipped amateur photographer. Imaging Resource: review of the Nikon D70

Dennis Hissink : 2004-04-15 01:12:47
Dave Etchells from the well-known and thorough American based website Imaging-Resource has tested the Nikon D70 and well according to Dave: "I'll save you the suspense though, and say right up front that I *really* liked this camera". We already read and received many enthusiastic reactions of fresh D70 users and after reading the first few reviews on the Internet we may conclude that Nikon succeeded in their difficult task; to produce a new DSLR with a competitive price, but not cripple the features. The Nikon D70 has become available some weeks ago and received a warm welcome by many Nikon fans, but I bet they got and will get a lot of attention from starters too! The D70 uses the Nikon DX sensor format.
