Fuji announces FinePix F440 Zoom and FinePix F450

Dennis Hissink : 2004-06-18 08:44:00
The FinePix F410 and F420 will both get a follow-up. Fujifilm announced the FinePix F440 Zoom and FinePix F450 Zoom: five and four Megapixel resolutions, with a 3.4 times optical zoom, two inch LCD screen, and housed in a design so small that it can be hidden behind a single Post-It Note. Borrowing the good looks of their predecessors - the popular FinePix F410 and F420 Zoom - the trim figures of these new models are possible thanks to a newly developed lens structure. The clever lens design makes these cameras' enviable vital statistics achievable (W 74.5 x H 62.3 x D 21.3 mm and a body weight of just 150g). The FinePix F440 and F450 Zoom will be available in August 2004. Pricing will be announced nearer to the date of retail launch.
