In addition to a fast Carl Zeiss lens and the RTUNE image processor for unlimited continuous shooting, other impressive features of this pedigree digicam are its small size, perky design and low weight (90g). The Contax i4R will be available in Europe in advance from mid-October at a price of ?398. "The "I" in Contax i4R stands for individuality, innovation and ingenuity. These are the core values of this camera," states Dirk Hülsermann, Marketing and Corporate Communications Manager at Yashica Kyocera. "In the Contax i4R we have developed a camera whose design generates emotions".

Epson unveils new 5 Megapixel L-500V camera

The Epson L-500V is a compact 5 Megapixel digital camera combined with a 2.5 inch Photo Fine viewer. It is the world's highest definition consumer display on the market with 256 pixels per inch (ppi) which enables accurate viewing and sharing of photos directly from the camera screen. The new L-500V was announced at the Photokina. The Epson L-500V digital camera is combined with an amazing 2.5 inch Photo Fine viewer, a low temperature polysilicon TFT technology display system that offers approximately 590K dots with a resolution of 256ppi.
