Samsung introduces stylish and compact U-CA 401

Among the whole bunch of digital cameras Samsung is introducing the new U-CA 401 is one of the ultra compact ones. Sleek, compact and ultra thin (96.7mm x 60mm x 15mm), the U-CA 401 offer all-round features into a stylish body that's small enough to take anywhere. With a resolution of 4 Megapixels and a 4x digital zoom the U-CA 401 is a camera that is easy to use and versatile for users and is interesting for those of you who are looking for a light weight camera. Although small in size, the U-CA 401 is very big on features. Beginning with its 4.1 megapixel image sensor the U-CA 401 is designed to deliver high quality images, storing them either in its internal 32MB of flash memory or onto a Sony Memory Stick Duo card.


PMA introduction of the new Samsung Digimax 530

Samsung introduces the Digimax 530, an entry-level 5.0 Megapixel digital camera with an interesting price. A high 5 Megapixel Auto focus digital camera with 3x optical and 4x digital zoom, the new Digimax 530 allows even the casual snap shooter to experience everything the high resolution world has to offer without breaking the bank. With an approximate street price of $279.99, the Digimax 530 has a very competitive price tag. Its 1/1.8” CCD captures sharp and detailed images, and the 1.5-inch TFT LCD with multiple language support is ideal for image preview and review. The Digimax 530 offers many of the same technologies found in higher priced 5 MP cameras, including multiple flash modes, adjustable white balance and selectable ISO value.


Samsung adds Digimax V50 to V-series

Samsung is out there and they are making sure that you are not going to forget about them that easy, eleven new digital cameras! Following the success of the Samsung Digimax V4 and V3 models (unveiled at PMA in March, 2003) the new V50 is one of the new models that replaces them and are lifting the Digimax line-up to new heights, with new capabilities and features. The V50 model combines a number of "world's first" features into a stylish, user-friendly and affordable package. Following in the footsteps of the popular V4 and V3 the V50 offer quality construction, world-class Schneider optics, a plethora of customization modes and other features to create one of the foremost digital cameras in its class.


Samsung unveils new Digimax V40 camera

The Digimax V40 is ideal for the amateur and advanced amateur photographer looking for a solid camera with a full range of high-end features. With its 4.1 MP CCD, the V40 captures high quality images thanks to its 5.8mm to 17.4mm f/2.8-4.9 lens (comparable to 38mm-114mm in 35mm film format). The built-in 4x digital zoom feature extends the range of the V40 even further. Samsung introduces 5 Megapixel Digimax V5

Last week visitors of the Amazon website were looking at a complete new line up from Samsung cameras. During the day before the PMA in Las Vegas kicks off Samsung showed their new series of Digimax digital cameras. We now introduce to you the new 5 Megapixel camera; Digimax V5. This model is one of the three models added to the Digimax V series. The others one V models are introduced in the next article. The Digimax V5 offers Schneider optics, support for nine different power sources, three customizable user profile settings and a super macro feature that gives the user the opportunity to get as close as 6cm away from the subject. Beside having a resolution of 5 Megapixels the V50 features 3x optical zoom.


Samsung launches new range of entry level cameras

During PMA Samsung announced the launch of its new Samsung Digimax 401, 301 and 202 digital cameras. At 4, 3.14 and 2 effective Megapixels respectively, the Digimax 401, 301 and 202 combine to form a new range of entry level compact digital still cameras designed specifically for first time users and promotional purposes. Like all Samsung digital still cameras, each of these new models was designed to be the price/performance leader in its respective class. These three new entry level cameras underscore that strategy, as they all offer a host of features not commonly found in products within their respective price ranges. All three cameras are highly compact, measuring just 98x38x51 mm, and all offer a unique double self timer feature.


New DiMAGE Xg camera from Konica Minolta

During this great PMA show Konica Minolta introduces the new DiMAGE Xg digital camera. The DiMAGE Xg's compact (just 20mm thick), unobtrusive body stems from its proprietary, non-extended 3x folded optical zoom, which is a feature that will make this camera attractive among a wide range of users. With the world’s fastest start-up time (As of January 1, 2004, for 3.2-megapixel, 3x optical zoom models) of approx. 0.8 seconds, the DiMAGE Xg can realize a rapid shot with no waiting. This model is one of the smallest cameras in the world and has a really fast start-up time of just 1 second! The DiMAGE X21 is a typical digital camera from the famous X-series. It's ultra slim, has 2 Megapixels and a 3x optical zoom on board.
