Steve's Digicams: full review Nikon D2H

Mark Peters : 2003-12-24 03:18:16
Our good friend Steve has completed his review about the already famous Nikon D2H DSLR camera. This new Nikon top model is designed for photojournalists and sport shooters. The new Nikon D2H sets a new standard in speed and adds a pretty nice feature called Wi-Fi transmission with the optional Wireless transmitter WT-1 to it. This new DSLR camera has been introduced last August and is available since a few weeks now. We see the first reviews appearing here and there and as we expected the reviews are quite positive. Those of you who think in terms of Megapixels- criteria should definitely read the review. 4 Megapixels in the digital imaging world may look like a moderate figure, but remember the reason the D2H was designed for!

Steve's Digicams: Review of the Panasonic DMC-FZ10

Mark Peters : 2003-11-24 03:50:58
Some months ago Panasonic launched a camera with remarkable features but not the features we would be too excited about. However the reactions from the readers all over the world were quite positive and the introduction of the Panasonic DMC-FZ10 became very successful in terms of publicity! This new model is the world's first 4 Megapixel camera with a 12x optical zoom. Okay, 12x is more than we have seen with competitors like Kodak and Olympus, but the interesting thing is that the entire zoom range has an f2.8 brightness! The optical range is equivalent to a 35-420mm zoom lens on a 35mm camera. The camera features a 1/2.5" CCD and F2.8 large-aperture Leica DC VARIO-ELMARIT lens with 13 elements in 8 groups and three aspherical lenses.

Steve's Digicams reviews Kodak DX4530

Dennis Hissink : 2003-11-11 00:09:37
The American based website Steve's Digicams has posted its review about the new Kodak DX4530 camera. This new 5 Megapixel camera is one of the most affordable high resolution cameras on the market. It was introduced just before the IFA show in Berlin, Germany started. The camera features a 5 Megapixels CCD and a 3x optical Kodak Retinar zoom lens combined a 3.3 advanced digital zoom. The Kodak DX4530 is a basic point-and-shoot camera, fully automatic, but with a good and solid 5 Megapixels resolution. Beside able to capture still images this new Kodak model also features a motion video capture mode for recording video clips with sound. The design is just basic, however the price (retail price of $399) for 5 Megapixels is interesting enough.

Steve's Digicams reviews Fujifilm FinePix S7000

Dennis Hissink : 2003-10-29 20:26:48
Our good friend Steve from the well-known website Steve's Digicams has posted his review about the new Fujifilm FinePix SLR-like camera S7000. The FinePix S7000 is the first digital camera to carry Fujifilm's new 4th generation Super CCD HR sensor. This sensor provides 6 million effective pixels and due to the technique of the Super CCD it creates up to 12 million recorder pixels! The S7000 camera from Fujifilm is the first digital camera for consumers with such a high resolution. The S7000 is a SLR-like camera that offers advanced exposure control and a whole bunch of settings. If you want maximum control and if you are looking for a camera that reminds you of your analogue SLR camera you should read the review of Steve.

Steve's Digicams posts Canon and Pentax reviews

Mark Peters : 2003-10-24 00:15:25
Our good friend Steve from the well-known website Steve's Digicams has posted a bunch of new reviews. The first review is about the Canon i860 Bubblejet printer. This printer is using a new 5-color ink set with separate blacks for text and photo printing. The last couple of weeks it seems that we hear almost every day about PictBridge and again this Canon printer is also PictBridge compatible. According to Steve this Canon printer is very fast and is the perfect replacement for both an all-purpose text and graphic printer and a photo printer. Looking for a new printer? Read more about this one at Steve's Digicams. The second review is about the new Canon SD10 (USA) or Digital IXUS i (Europe) camera.

Steve's Digicams reviews Pentax, Toshiba and Casio

Dennis Hissink : 2003-10-15 14:00:07
Our good friend Steve from the well-known website Steve's Digicams has finalized his reviews of three digital cameras. The first review is about the new square formatted Pentax Optio 33WR camera. This model was introduced during the IFA event in Berlin, Germany. During this event Pentax introduced three new digital cameras; Optio 555, Optio S4 and the one which Steve has reviewed, the Optio 33WR. Those of you who would like to capture their moments in the environment of water should read this review! The second review is the report about the Toshiba PDR-5300 camera. Toshiba seems to have real difficulties to gain some share of the digital camera market, but nevertheless they introduced another high-resolution camera with 3x optical zoom.

Steve Digicams review of the Canon i960 printer

Mark Peters : 2003-09-24 10:20:39
The new Canon i960 Photo Printer has been introduced in the first week of September. The 'ink' isn't dry yet and Steve already has his review of this new Canon printer finished and online! The Canon i960 printer has a very high density print head (3,072 nozzles) for its class and is capable of precisely firing up to 73.7 million 2 picoliters droplets per second. Combining this print head precision with Canon's six ink printing system the i960 photo printer is a natural for creating grain free photo prints with unsurpassed clarity, contrast, colour range, and tone. Is it capable of bringing the theory into practice? Well Steve of the well-known website Steve's Digicams has got some answers on this one.
