Olympus Select Axis Systems' Design Team Emulation

Mark Peters : 2003-08-26 14:39:04
Axis Systems announced that Olympus Optical has acquired Xtreme(R)-II for emulation and hardware/software co-verification to develop the next generation of SoC designs for Olympus digital cameras. Enabled by Axis' patented ReConfigurable Computing technology, Xtreme(R)-II offers a design team solution for simulation, acceleration, and emulation in a single kernel system for system, hardware, software, and verification engineers. Xtreme-II delivers fast runtime performance and the highest capacity, while preserving the native simulation debugging environment. The debugging capabilities, the single-database operation, small form factor, and the ability to map multiple levels of design abstraction are the reason for selecting Axis.
