Olympus E-System: ZUIKO DIGITAL 11-22mm lens

Mark Peters : 2003-12-12 00:19:21
With its very wide-angle capabilities, the ZUIKO DIGITAL 11-22mm, F2.8-3.5 lens (35mm camera equivalent: 22-44mm) opens up yet more creative possibilities to Olympus E-1 digital SLR users. Thanks to its great light gathering power (F2.8 at the wide setting), it also permits shooting with a wider range of shutter speeds in low light conditions, such as at dusk. Through full compatibility with the TIPA Award-winning FourThirds standard, the latest addition to the Olympus E-System delivers the excellent quality professionals need and expect. Superior optical performance is further aided by two aspherical lens elements, which minimise distortion as well as spherical and coma aberration.

Dennis Hissink : 2003-11-06 16:25:02
Every avid photographer knows you can never have enough camera equipment. Ranging from conversion lenses and flash systems to power sources, underwater and stylish leather cases, these models enhance the photography experience. They are also ideal presents for the enthusiastic photographer. To accompany the launch of its 5.1 megapixel C-5060 WIDE ZOOM, for example, Olympus also has released a range of new accessories designed especially for this camera. Boasting a wide-angle zoom lens, very short release time lag and 5.1 megapixels, the CAMEDIA C-5060 WIDE ZOOM is already very impressive.

Olympus Japan updates 5 cameras with PictBridge

Dennis Hissink : 2003-10-07 19:29:38
I just returned home from my visit to the office of Olympus Netherlands, took place behind my pc and got this announcement fresh in the mailbox. What a timing.. Well, Olympus will support PictBridge in future cameras and has made a start with the update of the two Digital Mju (Stylus) cameras, the C-750, C-740 and the C-350 (Europe name) cameras. At this moment all I know is that C-750 and the C-740 will turn into the C-755 and the C-745. The update of the C-350 will now support PictBridge. The camera features a 3.2 Megapixels CCD and 3x optical zoom. On the back of the camera is a 1.8-inch LCD display which is still remarkable for this kind of camera, most of them have 1.6-inch or smaller.

It's a one-off moment, like your friend doing his first bungee jump. You're all ready but the digital camera is too slow and you miss the shot. Who's never experienced that? With its latest top-of-the-range digital compact camera, Olympus puts an end to such infuriating experiences. The 5.1 megapixel CAMEDIA C-5060 WIDE ZOOM is one of the fastest digital camera models with a startup time of merely 3 sec. and a release time lag (including AF time) of 0.4 sec. (in wide angle, focus position from 80cm to infinity). And in the high speed sequence shooting mode, the shooting speed of three frames per second (HQ) ensures that you can capture a whole series of breathtaking moments.

This printer takes just 75 seconds to deliver an A4 print of a quality that convinces your most demanding clients. After all, the right presentation can make the difference between winning or losing a new contract. These features, plus ease of use and low running costs make this dye-sublimation printer ideal for casting, modelling and other agencies.
