Mark Peters : 2003-12-03 07:00:00
After rumours appearing in the media recently, Nikon Japan now confirms the launch of a new digital SLR camera with exchangeable lens on the market in the spring of 2004, the D70. The D70 will appeal to a large amount of customers, from starters to experienced photographers. It will enable them to add the possibilities of digital technology to their already owned camera systems without a problem. The new model offers an extensive range of possibilities, using the Nikon state-of-the-art technology. This camera outstrips the existing products on the always developing market of digital SLR cameras, by combining the most important features of an analogue SLR with a high quality digital make, and all of this carrying a very attractive price.

Dennis Hissink : 2003-10-28 08:00:56
Today Nikon introduces the Coolpix 3700, a surprisingly versatile and user friendly lightweight compact camera with numberless advanced functions. The new Coolpix 3700 camera is equipped with a 3.2 Megapixel CCD and a 3x optical zoom lens. It is designed to be a compact, easy to carry around camera that is not too vulnerable and may also be seen because of its nice appearance. The nicely shaped body of brushed aluminium only measures 95.5x50x31mm. We were able to get a first look at this new Nikon model and you can read about it in the extended article. Like all cameras from the Coolpix line, also this Coolpix 3700 is meant to give access to starting photographers to the digital photography.

Dennis Hissink : 2003-07-29 14:46:40
The last couple of weeks a lot of rumours were buzzing about a possible introduction of a new professional digital reflex camera from Nikon. Today is the day that we report about the introduction of the new professional Nikon digital reflex camera. Our first acquaintance to the new D2H took place some weeks ago and till this day we still hear the impressive sound of a shutter working at great speed filling the internal buffer of the D2H! Those of you who have always wished to decrease the storage capacity of their flash card within just a blink of your eye will definitely have to look out for this new Nikon D2H! The battle for the highest resolution is not that battle that is the most important one.

New Prosumer Coolpix 5400 camera from Nikon

Dennis Hissink : 2003-07-20 16:33:02
The announcement of the Coolpix 5400 strengthens Nikon's prosumer digital range and consolidates Nikon's position as one of the top three brands in the 5mp sector. Its 4x zoom lens gives a focal length of 28-116mm (35mm equivalent), covering a broad range of photographic situations from landscapes to interiors, family groups to individual portraits. The lens construction is 9 elements in 4 groups, comprising an Extra Low Dispersion (ED) glass element to guarantee sharpness and colour correction by minimising chromatic aberration, plus two aspherical elements to virtually eliminate problems of coma and distortion - even when used at the widest aperture.
