Minolta introduce new entry-level DiMAGE E323

The new DiMAGE E323 is Minolta's latest 3.3 megapixel compact digital camera. Complete with extensive zoom capabilities, combining its 3X optical zoom with its digital zoom provides a 12X zoom range. Ideal for the casual photographer, it produces high-quality images and offers value-added features in a convenient and attractive package. The DiMAGE E323's precision electro-optical system is centered around a 3.3 megapixel 1/2.7-type interline primary color CCD with 3.2 million effective pixels for high-resolution images. This resolution can produce 10 X 14 inch (B4-size) 150dpi prints, or double-L size photo-quality prints. For those occasions requiring larger prints, the camera automatically resizes the captured data to create a 6 MP image.


New DiMAGE A1 with 3D AF and Anti-Shake technology

Minolta introduces its next generation SLR-type digital camera, the DiMAGE A1. Abstracting the best features from the DiMAGE 7 series, the DiMAGE A1 was re-designed for today's digital photographer. With a 5 megapixel display and a 7X optical zoom, equivalent to a 28 - 200mm 35mm zoom lens, the DiMAGE offers quality and versatility in a compact, convenient package. Offering CxProcess II, the latest image-processing technology, this camera providing the tools to fully capture the power of digital imaging. The DiMAGE A1 has the world's fastest AF speed among 5-megapixel SLR-type digital cameras with a non-interchangeable 5x or greater optical zoom. With a precision electro-optical system built around a 2.1 megapixel 1/2.7-type interline primary-colour CCD, the 2.0 million effective pixels generate brilliant, high-resolution images for producing A4 size 150dpi prints or postcard size photo-quality prints. The DiMAGE E223's 3X optical zoom is equivalent to a 38 - 114mm lens on a 35mm camera, and offers a focal range of 6.2mm to 18.6mm. Minolta USA announces the new DiMAGE S414 camera

Minolta is starting to get ready to introduce their new products right before the PMA show is actually starting. The new DiMAGE S414 is a camera of which it is not sure at all that it will be launched in Europe as well. We have to wait and see whatever Minolta Europe will decide to do. For now Minolta USA published their official press release. Minolta Corporation announces the new easy-to-use DiMAGE S414 featuring a 4.1 megapixel CCD, a high-quality Minolta GT 4x optical zoom lens, Minolta's CxProcess, and additional versatile features.
