Minolta is pleased to introduce the latest addition to its series of powerful flash units, the Minolta Program Flash 2500 (D). This flash is characterized by powerful, automatic performance enclosed in a compact, affordable unit. The Program Flash 2500 (D) is compatible with the Dynax SLR film cameras, the DiMAGE 7 series digital cameras, as well as the new DiMAGE A1. The Program Flash 2500 (D) can use ADI (Advanced Distance Integration) metering, a sophisticated system for controlling flash exposures. This is available when using D series lenses with ADI compatible camera bodies. With conventional flash metering, dark or highly reflective subjects can deceive the metering system and cause over or underexposure.
