Kingston Introduces 256MB Secure Digital Card

Kingston Technology Company, Inc. today announced the release of a 256MB Secure Digital (SD) Card, the latest generation of high capacity, small form factor digital storage devices on the market today. SD is the latest addition to Kingston's continuously expanding spectrum of digital storage devices. The SD card's postage stamp size weighs less than two grams and provides up to 500 digital photos. The SD card also provides enhanced cryptographic security protection for copyrighted data. SD cards are used in the latest SD compatible digital devices such as PDAs, digital cameras, digital camcorders and MP3 players. Available immediately, Kingston's 256MB SD Card (SD/256) carries a Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of $99.00.

The 4 in 1 adapter hosts Memory Stick, MultiMediaCard, Secure Digital and SmartMedia. Kingston’s 4 in 1 adapter is ideal for laptop users that rely on the portability of small form factor digital media. The 4 in 1 adapter weighs only 29 grams and its compact size (2.128” x 0.197” x 3.37”) provides consumers with an easy alternative to accessing their digital media without the need for an external reader.By simply inserting the adapter into the laptop’s PC Card slot, users can begin reading and writing to their digital media solutions. The 4 in 1 adapter comes with a two-year warranty and free technical support.


Kingston Introduces 256MB USB Flash MemoryDrive

Kingston Technology Company, Inc. today introduced a 256MB USB Flash Memory Drive to its digital media product line, DataTraveler. The DataTraveler is Kingston's USB Flash memory solution and is immediately available in 32MB, 64MB, 128MB, and 256MB capacities. The DataTraveler's small form factor (2.9 inches x 0.94 inches) and plug and play technology makes it the latest digital media solution to combine high storage capacity with portability and fast data transfer rates. DataTraveler is a portable Flash drive that combines the speed of a memory chip with the portability of a compact disk, all in a device the size of a thumb. Kingston will be launching additional USB Flash solutions in 2003.
