Under water housing for Fujifilm FinePix F700

The new housing is made of transparent polycarbonate and is exactly adjusted to the camera, reinforced glass is used directly over the lens. Fujifilm Photo Film (Europe) GmbH today announced the FinePix S5000, a high specification, compact and affordable digital camera with an awesome 10x optical zoom Fujinon lens. This neat, SLR-style camera will satisfy the most ambitious photography enthusiast's appetite by enabling them to capture close-up, pin-sharp distant subjects. Unlike the multitude of silver- bodied compacts on the market, the designers of this camera did not focus their thoughts on the interior of a handbag or shirt pocket when they conceived the FinePix S5000. Fujifilm launches FinePix S7000 camera

Fujifilm today announced the FinePix S7000, and with it the most heavyweight imaging capability ever seen in a 'prosumer' camera. Building on the success and with all the features of the FinePix S602 Zoom – including full manual control and 6x optical zoom – the FinePix S7000's Super CCD HR sensor produces an exceptional 6 million effective pixel (12 million recorded pixel) output. Even before Fujifilm's Super CCD signal processing technology takes control of the image, photographs taken with this camera will possess a class-leading 6 million pixels. After the Super CCD HR has processed the file, the image output is an impressive 12 million pixels – allowing the user to enlarge to 10'' x 15'', representing gallery-size print dimensions.


Software Update for Fujifilm's FinePix S2 Pro

Listening to the requests of the professional market, Fuji Photo Film U.S.A. today announced a new software package for its critically-acclaimed FinePix S2 Pro digital camera that includes camera shooting software compatible with the Macintosh OS X operating system. Fujifilm also announced a price reduction for the FinePix S2 Pro, which is now available at a suggested price of $2295. Fujifilm will bundle this software upgrade with all shipped FinePix S2 Pro cameras beginning in August. Also part of the new software package will be a suite of features including a new EXIF Extractor and updated versions of the RAW File converter LE, RAW File Converter EX Version 2.0 and Camera Shooting Software Version 2.0.


Fujifilm announces SuperCCD HR and SR sensors

Fuji Photo Film U.S.A., Inc. today reached a new landmark in the industry's quest for a perfectly life-like digital image. Its proprietary Super CCD technology has created new standards for exceptional digital camera imaging quality since 2000. Now, its fourth-generation devices provide increased resolution, and extended dynamic range, creating for the first time pictures that can begin to match those taken with film. The technology will be marketed under two names - Super CCD HR and Super CCD SR - and will appear in products later this year. The new Super CCD HR (high resolution) announced today incorporates a total of 6.63 million pixels into a 1/1.7" chip, performance made possible through new strides in miniaturization.

Fuji Photo USA today unveiled the first digital camera to carry its 4th-generation Super CCD HR (High Resolution), the FinePix F410. The camera, which has 3.1 million effective pixels, provides first-time digital camera users with increased resolution, sensitivity and color reproduction, and produces high quality images. In addition, the camera's sleek and lightweight design is sure to win style points from consumers. The camera's Super CCD HR sensor uses 3.1 million effective pixels on its 1/2.7" chip, and can produce high-resolution images with 2,816x2,120 (6 MP) recorded pixels. This allows consumers to print crisp and vivid prints up to 11x14 inches in size using Fujifilm's Digital Camera Developing services at retail outlets nationwide


New Fujifilm's FinePix F700 offers 6.2 M pixels

Fuji Photo Film U.S.A., Inc. today unveiled the first consumer 6.2 megapixel (S-pixel: 3.1 million, R-pixel: 3.1 million) digital camera, which carries its proprietary new Super CCD SR technology. Capturing pictures with quality approaching that of film, with 2,832 x 2,128 (6.03 million) recorded pixels, and dramatically increased dynamic range, the new Fujifilm FinePix F700 represents a new frontier in digital photography. The Fujifilm FinePix F700 is the first 6.2 million effective pixel (S-pixel: 3.1 million, R-pixel: 3.1 million) consumer digital camera on the market today. One of two new Fujifilm digital cameras announced at PMA 2003, the FinePix F700 is intended for photo enthusiasts who want a near-film quality print experience.
