Beside digital cameras and new innovations like Super CCD sensors Fujifilm has a lot of other products like digital imaging accessories. This week Fujifilm UK announced a new range of cardreaders and smart storage products. These new products can be slotted directly into your PC of Mac. The readers are capable of handling all kind of data in a very fast way. A cardreader or adapter has to be connected to a computer only once and then becomes a part of the configuration. You just put them into the USB interface of the computer; the data can then be transferred via drag & drop. In general there are no compatibility problems with the presently available operating systems; therefore no special driver has to be installed additionally. The motto is: Small, light, always at hand and always ready for use. This also applies for the USB-Stick-Drive DPC-UD1, which Fujifilm are now putting onto the market. By means of this mobile USB card reader for xD-Picture Card you may easily transfer data via USB onto a current computer or onto a laptop. At the moment the xD-Picture Card is available with a capacity of 16 to 512 MB. The Fujifilm USB-Stick-Drive will be available from September onwards for 29.90 Euros.
