The Sanyo 2300mAh batteries achieves the world top-class capacity for retail Nickel Metal Hydride batteries (rated capacity: 2300mAh, nominal capacity: 2150mAh(min.). The Sanyo 2300mAh NiMH series is scheduled to go on sale in the Japanese market Sept. 10, 2003 for 2,200 yen for a 4-battery pack (HR-3UB-4BP) and 1,100 yen for a 2-pack (HR-3UB-2BP). Along with a rapid charger set (N-M56S) compatible with NiMH and NiCD batteries , for 6,800 yen.
